I watched Harry Potter for the first time in a long while.
I had recorded the Harry Potter movies that were previously broadcast on TV, so I watched them. These were the three films aired over three consecutive weeks: “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,” and “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.” Today, I binge-watched all three of them.
I believe I watched these three films in the theater as well, but I had forgotten quite a bit of the story. Back then, there was a huge craze, and although I hadn’t read the original books, I went to see the movies. Personally, I didn’t find them particularly interesting at that time. This time, watching the recorded versions, I still didn’t find them very engaging. Maybe there’s something off about my tastes.
Well, Hermione Granger, or rather, Emma Watson, was quite cute.
I don’t know what happens next in the Harry Potter series, but I wonder if I would enjoy it if I watched it until the end.
